In the not-too-distant future, you can get space shuttle service from a provider that will allow you to traverse any part of the world (with a large enough airport at each end) in no more than two hours. Imagine the travel logo for that business (we can!). A hundred years ago, the logo, if any existed, was likely a railcar, covered wagon or (gasp!) one of those new-fangled auto thingies. Today, virtually every travel website and associated corporate marketing material has a travel-oriented logo that distinguishes it from the competition. Well, do you?
What symbolizes the travel services you offer? An airplane? (lots of those) A map of the world with an airplane flying around it? (ditto) Roller skates? (Maybe not too many of those, for good reason) A travel logo can be direct or suggestive. The direct kind is something that uses a familiar icon (airplane, car, dune buggy) to characterize your services. A suggestive one is something that implies that the customer is going to experience something new, exciting or stimulating. We kind of like the latter approach, although it’s your choice. Maybe an exotic pair of eyes peaking around a palm tree? Maybe a sunset beach with a cool margarita in the foreground? Use your imagination, because that’s what we’re going to do when you ask us for ideas for a really catchy travel logo that your clients will remember!
